Tempest Energy was conceived out of a realization that the electric utility industry and their respective communities were continually being challenged by natural disasters that destroyed the electric grid and interrupted normal life for millions of people. Coupled with the increase in frequency and magnitude of destruction, was the shortage of skilled people and equipment to expedite the returning of those lives back to normal.
Recognizing the frequency of events and the scarcity of resources adversely affected the electric industry from effectively planning and reinforcing the electric infrastructure- Tempest Energy provides a solution to that industry dilemma. We are driven to partner with our infrastructure clients and the people they serve to build a more resilient grid and restore their services so people can get on with their lives.

WILLIAM F. CAIN
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Bill Cain started Tempest Energy in 2018 with an extensive background in the utility industry dating back to the early 1990’s. His experiences during those years include positions such as Electrical Apprentice, Field Foreman, Project Manager, CFO and CEO. Now serving as President and CEO of Tempest, he offers strategic leadership insight into the customer focus to sustain Superior Storm Response™ and the future of Tempest Energy.
CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER
Mike Zappone joined Tempest Energy mid 2020 after a 30+ year career in the utility sector. Having degrees in engineering, finance and an MBA, Mike brings a customer business focus to Tempest. He is driven not only by exceeding customer expectations, but also to exceed the expectations of the customers and stakeholders.
HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
Ashley Landry joined Tempest Energy in 2021 as our Human Resources Generalist. She holds a master’s in psychology and is pursuing the Certified Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Champion (CDEIC) Certification to lead the DE&I efforts at Tempest Energy in addition to overseeing the Human Resources department.
